A meeting of the board of the 2nd territorial primary party organization of the Ganja Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was held, organized by the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ganja City Organization. This was the first meeting of the board following the election of a new chairman for the organization a few days prior. 

   The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Ganja Branch of ANAS, Academician Fuad Aliyev, who reminded attendees that young staff member Vusal Eminbayli was elected as the new chairman of the local party organization during the expanded meeting held two days earlier. He once again congratulated Eminbayli on his election. 

   Academician Fuad Aliyev emphasized the significance of the participation of the Chairman of YAP’s Ganja City Organization, Bayram Aslanov, the Deputy Chairman Orkhan Ahmadov, and senior staff members Jabir Mammadov and Afer Mammadov in the previous meeting. He regarded their involvement as a testament to the high regard in which this scientific institution’s academic and socio-political standing is held. Aliyev expressed confidence that the renewed leadership of the local YAP organization would demonstrate even greater activity and set an exemplary position. 

   Vusal Eminbayli, the newly elected chairman of the 2nd territorial primary party organization of the Ganja Branch of ANAS, expressed gratitude to Academician Fuad Aliyev and the leadership of the New Azerbaijan Party Ganja City Organization for their trust. He highlighted the party's role as a vanguard of society and stated that he, along with his like-minded colleagues, would strive to contribute with greater energy to the implementation of the party's political agenda. 

   Eminbayli then informed attendees about the items on the meeting's agenda. 

   First, the issue of electing a deputy chairman for the primary party organization was discussed. Elnur Mammadov's candidacy was proposed for this position. Those speaking about Mammadov characterized him as an active and politically mature young individual. Following an open vote, Elnur Mammadov was elected Deputy Chairman of the 2nd territorial primary party organization of the YAP at the Ganja Branch of ANAS. 

   The second item on the agenda was the presentation and discussion of the 2025 work plan for the 2nd territorial primary party organization of YAP’s Ganja City Organization at the Ganja Branch of ANAS. 

   Academician Fuad Aliyev also shared his recommendations regarding the upcoming year's plan. He emphasized the importance of organizing events covering several socially and politically significant topics, including COP29, "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development," as well as ANAS’s 2025-2030 Development Concept and Roadmap. 

   During the meeting, discussions also touched upon the proposals of the Ganja Branch of ANAS concerning the aforementioned roadmap. Deputy Chairman of the Branch, Sara Azizova, presented a list of these proposals. 

   The final issue discussed at the meeting focused on the applications of several young employees who expressed their desire to join YAP. 

It was also announced during the meeting that the board of the 2nd territorial primary party organization of the Ganja Branch of ANAS would be expanded with new members.
